Mark T. Stewart, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Aortic Aneurysm Mark T. Stewart, M.D., is originally from Dallas, Texas. He received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas where he was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha. Dr. Stewart completed his General Surgery residency and Vascular Surgery fellowship at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta. He has practiced with Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgeons since 1989.

He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a Diplomate of the American Board of Surgery. He is also Board Certified and specializes in Vascular Surgery.

Dr. Stewart is a member of the Society for Vascular Surgery, the Southern Association for Vascular Surgery and the Peripheral Vascular Surgery Society. He is also a member of the Texas Medical Association and the Travis County Medical Society.

Dr. Stewart currently serves as Secretary of the Seton Medical Staff and Chairman of the Seton Network Credentials Committee. He has previously served as Chief of Cardiovascular Surgery and Chief of Surgical Council at Seton. He was formerly on the faculty of the Emory University School of Medicine and has served as a consultant in Vascular Surgery to the American Board of Surgery. Dr. Stewart has authored numerous research articles, book chapters and presentations in his specialty.

Dr. Stewart has been listed multiple times in Best Doctors in America, Texas Monthly's "Super Doc's" and Austin Monthly's "Best Doctor's in Austin."
